2022 Festive Lunar Tiger

As we approach the end of the Year of the Ox, let us look forward to ushering in a vibrant Year of the Tiger in 2022.

The independent, highly motivated and energetic Tiger ranks third in the 12-year cycle of animals in the Chinese Zodiac. 2022 marks the New Year of the Tiger with water element, symbolising determination to overcome adversities and inclining towards a fresh new positive outlook.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore is proud to present the Year of the Tiger Almanac coins, the sixth issue in the ongoing Singapore Fourth Chinese Almanac Coin Series (2017 – 2028), featuring the Tiger against the backdrop of Haw Par Villa, an Asian cultural park in Singapore.

We are also ecstatic to announce the addition of two new brand collaborations to our portfolio – Sanrio and Marvel.
