Renowned for her control of water and willingness to help people in distress, Ma Zu is also recognized as the Empress of Heaven, and worshipped by generations as a protector of peace, blessing one with a life of abundance.

The design features Ma Zu , the Goddess of Sea / Empress of Heaven, stands dignified against choppy waves and a field of grains. Her name in chinese “妈祖” is engraved next to her.
