China Monkey 1 oz Blossom-Shaped 999 Fine Silver Proof Coin

In 2016, to commemorate the Lunar Year of the Monkey, the People’s Bank of China released a limited issue Blossom-Shaped 10 Yuan Silver Coin struck in solid fine 999 Silver weighing one ounce of pure silver .

The obverse of the coin features the national emblem of the People’s Republic of China, auspicious design of lotus and fish symbolizing a surplus year after year, the name “People’s Republic of China” in Chinese and the year date. The reverse features a lifelike monkey perching on a tree in the foreground, a decorative design of a monkey’s head as the background and the face value.
