Minted and marketed by The Singapore Mint, the Macau Lunar Series is an award winning series which has clinched multiple international awards in the past few years.

The latest issue from the series is the 2017 Macau Lunar Rooster.

The obverse side of the coin features the outline of a magnificent rooster, accompanied by blooms of rosy Celosia cristata. The Celosia cristata, is also commonly called the cockscomb due to its similarity to the comb of the rooster.

The reverse side features the St. Dominic’s Church. Located within the Historic Centre of Macao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built in 1587, the church is one of Macau’s oldest historical structures.
