Plant:
This vigorous vine can grow to 50 ft long. It bears large velvety, bright yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers on a sprawling vine.
Edge:
Coins with year-dates prior to 1989 have milled edge. Those bearing year-dates from 1989 onwards have a plain edge with the inscription "REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE" and the lion symbol.

A small shrub with single or slightly branched stems. The flowers are produced in the upper-most leaf axils and are beautifully offset by the glossy dark green foliage of the plant.
