1. To purchase online, you must be a Friend-of-the-Mint. If you have not registered, kindly register here.
2. Login with your User ID and password on the left column of the website. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password and enter your User ID and the email address you gave when you registered with The Singapore Mint. Your password will then be sent to you via email.
3. You are now ready to shop and make purchase in our e-Shop. Before you do so, we encourage you to read through our terms and conditions.
4. Click 'More info' or 'Add to cart' on the desired item(s) in e-Shop.
5. Upon 'Add to cart', you will be brought to your shopping cart. Enter the quantity you wish to purchase for each item.
6. Check and ensure that the item(s), quantity and amount is/are correct, you may proceed to step 10. Go to step 7 to remove or step 8 to add item(s) in the shopping cart.
7. If there is an item you have entered wrongly or decided not to purchase, enter the right quantity or click the corresponding checkbox to remove that item in the shopping cart. Then click on 'Update Cart'. Go back to step 6, and/or read on if you wish to add more items.
8. If you are in the shopping cart and wish to browse or purchase more items, click on 'Continue Shopping'. After which, repeat step 4 to 6.
9. So you are done shopping and are ready to confirm the order in the shopping cart. Please click on 'Checkout' button.
10. Upon Check Out, please look through your order once again. Should there be any amendments in your order, please click on 'Edit' beside Order Details or click on 'View Cart', and repeat step 4 to 6. Once you have ensured that your order is correct, proceed to step 11.
11. Select the mode of delivery, self-collect or deliver to an address (edit if necessary). Please note for local delivery, there is a charge of $10.00. Overseas delivery will be charged accordingly, and any import & custom duties arising in respect of your order shall be borne by you.
12. Once order and mode of delivery is confirmed, click on 'Make payment'.
13. Check through the payment details and view the terms and conditions once again.
14. Select a payment mode and click 'Submit Order'.
15. Please make the cheque in Singapore Dollars marked "A/C Payee" in favour of 'The Singapore Mint'. Kindly indicate your Transaction Number, name and telephone number on the back of the cheque. For credit card payment, you are directed to PayPal. Type in your name on credit card, credit card number, expiry month and year and click on 'Submit'.
16. Upon order submission, a summary of the order, details on collection/delivery and payment mode, and a Transaction number will be given. You will receive a copy of Transaction Summary via email within a few minutes.
17. Online shopping completed. You may click on 'Logout' on the left column of the website or continue shopping in www.singaporemint.com with a fresh shopping cart.
18. To check on the status of your order or even to view your order history, you have to login and click on 'Order Status'.
